You know that guy who always tells his friends he prefers watching NCAA over NBA? Better fundamentals. More passion. The game played in the purest of forms. Yeah, that guy is me. Not since Michael Jordan last played a game for the Chicago Bulls have I had a sincere interest in the NBA. As a sports fan at heart I still follow the game. In addition, it certainly does not help that my favorite team is the Golden State Warriors. After Jordan retired and the game started shifting to the hip hop era of Bryant, Iverson, Marbury, and Shaq, my interest dwindled. The problem was I did not care about many of the players and could not relate to them.
